Winner of the IV IndesIA Datathon
The technology consulting firm Bravent won the last Datathon held by the IndesIA association, with a solution developed for the company Exolum.
Madrid, April 2024 – Bravent and IndesIA have just announced a strategic alliance to drive innovation and technological transformation in companies. With this agreement, the Spanish technology consulting firm and the Industrial Association for the Promotion of the Data Economy and Artificial Intelligence mark the beginning of a new era of disruptive solutions in the field of Artificial Intelligence (AI) and Machine Learning (ML).

Bravent wins the latest IndesIA Datathon
One of Bravent’s most recent milestones was its outstanding participation in the IV Datathon organized by IndesIA, where it won the prize thanks to its collaboration with Exolum, a leading company in the storage, transportation and distribution of fuel, hydrocarbons and petroleum products. The event, held late last year at Microsoft headquarters, focused on the application of generative AI in industrial companies.
Bravent and Exolum presented a corporate assistant for departmentalized information management, and it was the most valued solution by the Datathon jury. This successful collaboration has strengthened the relationship between Bravent and Exolum, opening new doors for future joint projects.
The winning project focused on creating a virtual assistant capable of interpreting and managing internal documentation for employees and suppliers, thus improving the company’s processes. This solution not only optimized the process of registering new suppliers, but also provided an internal chat system for more complex queries, allowing employees to quickly access relevant information. In addition to the implementation of the wizard and chat system, Bravent proposed a scalable and secure technological architecture to efficiently store all information and limit access to sensitive data based on user permissions.
