At Bravent, we had the pleasure of participating in a talk in collaboration with AECIM, focused on industrial optimization through Extended Reality<\/a> (XR) technologies. Introduction to Spatial Computing<\/strong><\/h2>\n

We began with an introduction to spatial computing, a field that encompasses technologies such as Augmented Reality (AR), Virtual Reality (VR), and Mixed Reality (MR). These technologies are revolutionizing the way we interact with the world and with each other, offering new opportunities to automate and optimize processes across various industries.<\/p>\n<\/div>[vc_empty_space]<\/div><\/div><\/div><\/section>

XR Devices: Apple Vision Pro and Meta Quest 3<\/strong><\/h2>\n

We showcased two leading devices in the XR and particularly Mixed Reality space: Apple Vision Pro and Meta Quest 3.<\/a><\/p>\n

Apple Vision Pro stands out for its advanced mixed reality experience, eye and hand tracking, and high 4K-per-eye resolution.<\/p>\n

On the other hand, Meta Quest 3, with its more accessible price point and large developer community, offers compatibility with multiple platforms and both virtual and mixed reality applications.<\/p>\n

We emphasized that XR is not limited to headsets alone\u2014it is a multiplatform technology, meaning applications can also be developed for desktops and mobile devices.<\/p>\n<\/div>[vc_empty_space]<\/div><\/div><\/div><\/section>

Industry Success Stories<\/strong><\/h2>\n

During the session, we shared several success stories demonstrating the impact of XR technologies in the industrial sector. One notable example was John Deere<\/a>, which implemented a computer vision solution<\/a> to reduce human error in tractor assembly. Using Machine Learning and Deep Learning<\/a> algorithms, John Deere was able to analyze visual data and make informed decisions, improving both the quality and efficiency of their production processes.<\/p>\n<\/div>[vc_empty_space][vc_single_image image=”53649″ img_size=”Full” alignment=”center”][vc_empty_space]

Another success case was Aviation Group<\/a>, which enhanced aerospace training by integrating HoloLens 2<\/a> with the Dynamics Guides platform and BlueWings XR.
