Extended realities, also known as “XR”,<\/strong> is an umbrella term that encompasses a number of immersive technologies.<\/p>\n Therefore, we could understand extended realities as encompassing augmented, virtual and mixed reality.<\/strong><\/p>\n Likewise, extended realities encompass all those aspects that complement and relate to the rest<\/strong> of the realities.<\/p>\n In addition, all the advances and innovations<\/strong> that arise in this aspect are found within the extended realities.<\/p>\n To summarize, we could say that extended realities are technologies that create environments and objects digitally<\/strong> in which users can interact.<\/p>\n As we have just explained, augmented reality is one of the extended realities.<\/p>\n That is, augmented realities (AR) are those technologies that allow the user to visualize graphical information in the real world through a device.<\/strong><\/p>\n For example, one of the best known are interactive games, such as Pokemon Go<\/a>.<\/p>\n Another example, one of the projects we carried out in 2022, for the company Ooredoo, where, from Bravent, we created Ooredoo Nation<\/a>, a game that they used during the World Cup in Qatar.<\/p>\n Therefore, thanks to augmented reality, users will be able to see and interact with objects superimposed on the real world through their technological devices<\/strong>.<\/p>\n Let us now move on to explain what virtual reality (VR) is, within extended realities.<\/p>\n In this case, the experience is totally immersive<\/strong>. In other words, the user feels that them are in the reality they are accessing.<\/strong><\/p>\n In addition, access to this virtual reality is through specific devices<\/strong>, such as glasses or cases<\/strong>.<\/p>\n The best known glasses are the Meta Quest<\/a>.
