This Is How We Experienced the Igniting Innovation Day

On November 13th, Bravent and ESIC University held the second edition of the Igniting Innovation Day, an event where innovation, artificial intelligence, and business strategy came together to inspire professionals in the sector.

The ESIC Auditorium in Pozuelo de Alarcón was filled with energy, ideas, and conversations that demonstrated how innovation can become a real growth engine for companies.

The day began with a welcome from Mario López (Bravent) and Belén Grana (ESIC University), who highlighted innovation as a key component for competitiveness in a time of technological change.

Throughout the day, high-level presentations and roundtables took place: Leyre de la Calzada (Microsoft) addressed the potential of AI Agents, while Patricia Pozuelo (Intel) delivered a masterclass on Edge AI.

The most inspiring session was led by Emilio Duró Pamies and Jesus Serrano (Microsoft), who emphasized the importance of attitude, talent, and purpose in driving effective innovation strategies.

The vision of Madrid as a technological hub was also explored by Ignacio Azorín (Community of Madrid), along with how AI can transform digital products with Javier Lázaro Gaspar and Julio Manuel Navarro (Ferrovial).

The roundtable, moderated by María Soto, brought together representatives from Exolum, Vodafone Business, Parques Reunidos, and AEMPS, who shared real-world innovation experiences that are creating tangible impact within their organizations.

The event combined networking spaces with an interactive showroom that featured a hyper-realistic avatar welcoming attendees, Intel demos, the SelfIA app transforming attendees into Marvel or Pixar characters, and the Unitree Go2 Pro robot livening up breakfast.

In conclusion, the Igniting Innovation Day 2025 demonstrated that combining innovation, AI, and a transformative mindset not only inspires, but also boosts competitiveness, creativity, and tangible impact in companies.
