Bravent at FITUR 2026: real innovation for an increasingly digital tourism industry

FITUR 2026 once again made one thing very clear: tourism is changing, and technology is no longer a promise of the future, but a reality of today. In this context, Bravent took part with its own stand at the FITUR Tech pavilion, the space where innovation applied to the tourism industry truly comes to life.

Over these days, our stand became a meeting point for tourism and hospitality companies from Europe, the Middle East and the United States. We shared conversations, ideas and strategic meetings focused on how artificial intelligence, data and automation are already helping —in a tangible way— to improve tourism businesses.

FITUR Tech: three key days to connect innovation and business

Being part of FITUR Tech allowed us to have open, direct conversations with technology and business decision-makers, in an environment designed to turn innovation into real solutions. Far from futuristic speeches, discussions focused on very specific challenges: how to digitize operations, improve the traveler experience and optimize costs in an increasingly demanding sector.

We would like to sincerely thank everyone who visited our stand, showed interest in our solutions and took the time to share their challenges with our team. FITUR 2026 has undoubtedly been a strong driver of new opportunities.

Robotics and Artificial Intelligence in tourism

One of the elements that attracted the most attention at our stand was our robot dog, Unitree Go2. Beyond its visual impact, its presence sparked smiles, curiosity and many meaningful conversations about robotics, automation and artificial intelligence applied to tourism.

Beyond the initial wow effect, Unitree Go2 brings advanced technology into the physical world. Thanks to its LiDAR camera and AI-powered developments, the robot is able to recognize objects and automate routes, opening up a wide range of real use cases in tourism environments.

Among other applications, Unitree Go2 can:

  • Detect waste, liquid spills or damaged equipment.
  • Identify the presence of people in restricted areas.
  • Send real-time alerts to responsible teams.
  • Support monitoring, maintenance and security tasks.

All of this clearly reflects our approach to technology: innovation that impresses, yes, but above all delivers real value, whether by improving customer service or optimizing processes in complex tourism environments.

Technology designed for the digital traveler… and for the business

At FITUR 2026, Bravent showcased something that is already a reality: the traveler is fully digital, and tourism companies must be able to support them throughout their entire customer journey. We talked about solutions that enable:

  • Automated customer service across multiple channels, improving conversion and loyalty.
  • New digital service models through intelligent avatars and personalized experiences.
  • Digitization of internal processes and reduction of manual errors in document management.
  • Real-time data analysis to make better decisions in revenue, operations or human resources.
  • Anticipation of incidents and demand peaks through AI-based predictive models.
  • Immersive experiences that inspire travelers even before their journey begins.

All with a very clear goal: to help tourism companies become more efficient and deliver better experiences, without losing control or scalability.

MIA: World2Meet’s digital ambassador developed by Bravent

In parallel, at its own stand, World2Meet (W2M) once again presented MIA, its intelligent digital ambassador developed by Bravent.

MIA is a hyper-realistic, AI-powered avatar, designed to interact naturally with users, provide information, answer questions and support travelers at different touchpoints. It is not just a visually appealing interface, but a living solution that evolves year after year.

This was the third consecutive FITUR where W2M presented MIA, incorporating new features and continuous improvements. Its evolution shows how intelligent avatars can become a strategic communication and service channel within the tourism sector.

Additionally, this year W2M received a visit from Microsoft, interested in learning firsthand about the avatar developed together with Bravent — a milestone that reinforces the technological strength and potential of these types of solutions.

Bravent in the media: RTVE and Agencia EFE

The innovation presented at FITUR 2026 also gained significant media attention. RTVE interviewed  María Soto, our Head of Innovation, at the official opening of the fair, highlighting the role of artificial intelligence, avatars and technology as key drivers of the future of tourism.

Likewise, Agencia EFE also shared Bravent’s vision on the digital transformation of the Travel & Hospitality sector.
