Technology has always been synonymous with the future, change and progress, but this progress only makes sense when it is matched by diversity and inclusion. Can we move forward as a society if we are not committed to equality in all areas?
At Bravent, we are convinced that an inclusive and responsible technology sector is the only way to real and sustainable innovation. This vision is reflected in our constant effort to contribute to an increasingly equal and equitable world.
We are excited to announce our partnership with Tech SHEssions, a mentoring programme created by and for women that aims to empower, guide and support female peers in the tech sector.
What is Tech SHEssions?
Tech SHEssions is a non-profit initiative that offers a free mentoring programme for women with a technical background who want to share their knowledge and experience. During the three-month programme, participants will develop skills such as public speaking, body language and stage fright management, all in a safe environment where they will be able to connect with other women in the industry, practice their presentations and receive the support they need to overcome any barriers.
This programme is perfectly aligned with Bravent’s values, vision and mission. We are proud to collaborate with initiatives that empower female talent and bring us closer to a professional reality where women have greater visibility and opportunities for growth and leadership. With this sponsorship, we confirm our commitment to gender equality and directly support the development of women in technology.
BraveTechLadies: Our initiative to reduce the gender gap
At the beginning of the year Bravent launched the BraveTechLadies internal community, born out of the need to reduce the gender gap in technology. Its aim is two-fold: to encourage girls and young women to take an interest in IT careers and, at the same time, to support and raise the profile of women in the sector.
We would like to take this opportunity to congratulate two of our BraveTechladies, Alexandra Kuchynskaya, Frontend Senior Developer, and Lucía López Gutierrez, Marketing Specialist, for being selected as mentees in the Tech SHEssions programme. This is a great opportunity for their professional growth.
This achievement reflects the talent and dedication that our BraveTechLadies show every day, and we are convinced that their participation in Tech SHEssions will be an enriching experience for them and our entire team.
Our commitment: A more diverse industry
Supporting Tech SHEssions and building BraveTechLadies are steps that consolidate our mission to promote an environment in which everyone can develop to their full potential. We are proud that, through our sponsorship and active participation, we contribute to the growth of a more inclusive and diverse future and sector.
